Position: Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics Physicist (PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Commitment: 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI model training and improve model outputs in research-level physics challenges.

- Develop complex physics problems and solutions in your subfield for AI model evaluation .

- Review completed work and provide structured feedback to enhance training data quality .

- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure precision and rigor in model reasoning.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- PhD in gravitation, cosmology, astroparticle physics, or a closely related field.

- Published work on specific phenomena such as torsion, Nieh-Yan, or Chern-Simons terms.

- Verifiable publication record with arXiv IDs or DOIs .

- Proficiency in LaTeX , Python , SymPy , and Jupyter .

- English at B2 or above , including written reasoning.

Preferred
- Familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code .
