What You'll Do

- Write in-depth whitepapers and long-form security research content that establish Neo Security as a credible voice in the AI security conversation.

- Translate technical research, threat intelligence, and product/engineering findings into clear, accurate, and engaging content for security practitioner audiences.

- Track the AI and cybersecurity news cycle (emerging threats, vulnerabilities, regulatory developments, notable breaches) to identify timely content opportunities.

- Develop a consistent editorial voice and point of view for Neo Security's content that balances technical credibility with accessibility.

- Support the creation of supporting content formats (e.g., executive summaries, social copy, webinar content) derived from core research and blog content.

- Collaborate with Design/Motion on visual assets (charts, diagrams, illustrations) that support written content.

- Track content performance (traffic, engagement, s, backlinks) and use data to refine topics and formats over time.

- Build and maintain relationships with security researchers, analysts, and journalists relevant to amplifying Neo Security's content and research.

Requirements

- Prior hands-on experience in cybersecurity β€” as a practitioner, analyst, researcher, or dedicated security content writer/editor.

- Published writing samples from a major cybersecurity vendor, research team, or publication, demonstrating the ability to write credibly for a security practitioner audience β€” required for consideration.

- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape and ability to speak knowledgeably about vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and defensive strategies.

- Working familiarity with AI security topics (e.g., AI/ML threat models, prompt injection, model security, AI governance) or demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly.

- Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience producing both short-form blog content and long-form whitepapers/research reports.

- Ability to read and accurately translate technical source material (research papers, CVEs, threat reports) into clear content without sacrificing accuracy.

- Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity, comfortable digging into a new technical topic and turning it into an authoritative piece of content.

- Self-directed and comfortable owning an editorial calendar and publishing cadence with minimal oversight.

- Based in the United States, able to work remotely across U.S. time zones.
