Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tribal Construction Project Coordinator responsible for reviewing contract plans and specifications for constructability and determining compliance of materials and workmanship by the constructing contractor. Responsible for oversight of construction/renovation projects. Prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following inexhaustive list of duties represents a sample of work routinely performed by this role:
- Must have prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
- Must have 10 years of experience in a construction engineering or technical expertise area.
- Relevant experience in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Support the construction team with day-to-day operational needs and special projects as required
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction software tools, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity software.
- Support renovation projects from start to finish but not limited to administrative task as needed.
- Experience with Federal Construction projects is strongly preferred.
Education, Experience, and Technical Skills

- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university.
- Must have ten (10) years relevant specialized experience in construction and/or the construction management area.
- Must have prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Working Environment
This position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.
This role also requires periodic travel to project sites, including locations undergoing renovation or active construction. During site visits, the employee may be exposed to non-temperature-controlled environments, construction noise, dust, and other typical conditions found on job sites. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during these
