COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST III (Part-time)
Location: Remote
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Computer Systems Analyst III to analyze, design, enhance, and support complex business and information systems. This role will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate business needs, develop system solutions, improve operational efficiencies, and support technology initiatives across multiple functional areas.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and system requirements to develop effective technology solutions.
- Design, implement, maintain, and enhance complex computer systems and application environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate proposed system enhancements and new initiatives.
- Identify data integration challenges and develop solutions for complex business problems.
- Recommend system improvements, process optimizations, and technology strategies.
- Support the development of system designs, workflows, data structures, and functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution efforts with technical teams.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead or mentor junior analysts and support cross-functional project teams.
Requirements:
- Active Security Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or application support.
- Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, and system design methodologies.
- Experience analyzing data from multiple sources and resolving complex business and technical challenges.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting enterprise systems in areas such as finance, logistics, operations, inventory management, engineering, or business administration.
- Familiarity with database technologies, reporting tools, and business process optimization.
- Experience leading project workstreams or mentoring junior analysts.
- Knowledge of system integration, workflow automation, and data management best practices.

Salary: $55 - $60 per hour
