Overview Lynker Corporation is a leading provider of innovative solutions in oceanographic and climate science. As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Coastal Resilience Program Specialist to support NOAA's National Ocean Service's strategic initiatives, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and cross-organizational collaboration. This role provides day-to-day program coordination and administrative support to ensure projects, meetings, and executive priorities remain organized and on schedule. The successful candidate will be comfortable working behind the scenes supporting senior leadership, voicing thoughts and ideas, to keep complex projects moving forward. They will assist with meeting planning, developing executive materials, coordinating with internal and external partners, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Responsibilities - Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of strategic initiatives involving multiple organizations and stakeholders. - Coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, and stakeholder events, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, participant communications, speaker coordination, and meeting materials. - Prepare presentation materials, executive briefings, talking points, reports, and other documents for leadership. - Present at conferences and speak publicly via webinars to stakeholders, the public, government officials, and academic partners. - Facilitate meetings and events with partners, external stakeholders, internal teams, and subject matter experts. - Draft and edit internal communications, technical summaries, executive presentations, and other program documentation. - Track multiple assignments, deadlines, and follow-up actions while maintaining accurate project documentation. - Attend coordination meetings, capture notes, monitor action items, and communicate updates to project leadership. - Coordinate reviews and feedback among technical staff, leadership, and partner organizations to support timely completion of work products. - Assist with the preparation of annual plans, progress reports, technical documents, briefing materials, and other program deliverables. - Support stakeholder engagement activities by coordinating communications, collecting input, organizing feedback, and documenting outcomes. - Help coordinate responses to executive requests, leadership inquiries, and other high-priority assignments. - Organize project files, maintain trackers, and ensure documentation remains accurate and current. Qualifications The Coastal Resiliance Specialist selected should have the following: - Master’s Degree in environmental science, public administration, communications, project management, marine science, or a related field. - Two or more years of experience supporting projects, programs, or executive leadership in a professional environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience preparing professional reports, presentations, meeting materials, or executive correspondence. The Ideal Coastal Resiliance Specialist will have the following: - Experience supporting Federal agencies, consulting organizations, or other complex organizations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and improve program processes. - Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from planning through implementation while coordinating multiple stakeholders. - Ability to synthesize technical or scientific information into concise briefing materials, presentations, and communications for executive and non-technical audiences. - Experience organizing or contributing to strategic planning, organizational leadership planning, or long-range program planning. - Experience managing t
