The Role

As an Cloud Security Engineer, you'll play a critical role in protecting the technologies that power those connections while helping shape the future of enterprise security.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated security professional to join our collaborative Cybersecurity Engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, and support cloud and enterprise security solutions that safeguard critical infrastructure, applications, and data. You'll have the opportunity to work across key security domains including Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Endpoint Security, Email Security, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), while partnering with experienced professionals who are passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.

Location

This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in the cloud.

- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation for cloud security.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies related to cloud security.

- Provide operational engineering support for Multifactor Authentication, Endpoint Security, Email Security and Data Loss Prevention as needed.

What We Look For in a Candidate

- Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security, Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience.

- Experience in cloud security and knowledge of MFA, DLP, Email Security as well as Endpoint Security.

- Candidate must be able to obtain Government Suitability. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.

- Possess or be willing to pursue relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security

- Engineer Associate, or equivalent are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft or UNIX (including Linux or other UNIX derivatives) operating system administration/support experience.
