About the Position: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and developing relationships with new and previous clients. This role will focus on expanding the Strategic Business Unit’s (SBU) presence in the market through strategic outreach, relationship building, and consultative sales. What You’ll Do: - Prospect and develop new business opportunities with new and previous clients to drive growth within the SBU. - Conduct business development outreach through phone, email, social media, networking, and other channels. - Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients within an assigned geographic territory. - Identify and pursue opportunities that can result in new job orders, new accounts, and revenue growth. - Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the assigned market. - Build a strong understanding of the market, including market trends, market intelligence, rates, job titles, job descriptions, credentialing requirements, and competitive activity. - Identify client needs and work with internal teams to develop appropriate solutions for prospective clients. - Build rapport and establish relationships with key decision-makers and client stakeholders. - Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and other business arrangements as appropriate. - Collaborate closely with recruiting, client services, and other internal teams to ensure strong communication and effective client support. - Maintain accurate client and prospect information, contacts, and business development activity. - Monitor market conditions and competitive activity to identify opportunities and provide relevant market insights to leadership. - Meet established business development KPIs and consistently manage activities toward measurable results. - Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with SBU and company goals. What You’ll Bring: - 2+ years of sales and/or healthcare experience , with strong sales or business development experience highly preferred. - Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, whether in healthcare sales, healthcare recruitment, staffing, or another relevant healthcare environment. - Staffing industry experience is a plus. - Experience working with schools or in education is a plus but is not required . - Demonstrated experience with prospecting, lead generation, and developing new business . - Experience building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. - Comfortable conducting outreach through phone, email, social media, and other business development channels . - Strong networking, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
