About the position

You will work as a Personal LinesUnderwriter remotely and will need to travel occasionally within our business territory.The ideal candidate will be bilingual (French and English) and reside in New Brunswick or another Atlantic province.

What will your work week look like?

-
Handling the underwriting and acceptance of insurance requests in automobile and home insurance policies in accordance with current underwriting and pricing policies

Issuing the necessary documents and renewals for individual insurance policies

- Providing support to our broker partners

Developing and maintaining your skills and knowledge in personal lines insurance

Do you have this profile?

-
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in personal insurance

-
In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products and the insurance market in New Brunswick or some Atlantic Provinces

-
Possessing a ‘’Chartered Insurance Professional’’ (CIP) is an asset

-
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite

-
Excellent interpersonal skills and listening abilities

Depth of analysis, quality of judgment, and good decision-making ability

Negotiation
