AI Video Creative Strategist (AI video ads for Meta)

A Man And His Cave (AMAHC) is an Australian online retailer of pool tables, arcade machines, bar fridges, kegerators and games-room gear. We're hiring someone to turn our product truths and real customer stories into a steady stream of AI-led video ads for Meta that win, and to own each concept from the idea to the live ad to the remake.

What you'll do

- Make 5 finished 9:16 video ads a week from week 3, and 10 a week by month 3

- Bring new concepts, not just variations: every ad tagged by customer, angle and offer

- Fix the still first, then animate, and keep every prompt and source still so anyone can rebuild any ad

- Read your ads' hook rate, hold rate, cost per sale and return in Ads Manager, and change the next brief because of them

- Every Monday, a one-page note: what won, what died, why, and next week's remakes

What you need

- A portfolio of video ads you made yourself, with the raw prompts and source stills behind them

- Hands-on AI video production today (for example Higgsfield, Seedance, Kling, Veo, ElevenLabs), and you know where AI breaks: hands, pours, crowds, on-screen text

- Direct-response judgment: you can explain in plain words why an ad works

- Editing for Meta in CapCut or Premiere: 9:16, captions, a 3-second hook

- Product accuracy: you catch the wrong model, invented logos, low-resolution exports and claims we can't back up

- Clear written English, and an ear for an Australian voice: warm and credible, not American hype

- Ads that hit real numbers (tell us which ones)

- Big-ticket products or ecommerce

How we work

- Every AMAHC ad is made on AMAHC's paid tool accounts, never yours

- Real customers and real reviews only: no fake reviews or invented claims, ever

- You work with our creative lead and see your ads' results every week

The details

- Full time, 40 hours a week, with at least 4 hours a day overlapping Sydney business hours (9am to 5pm Sydney), Monday to Friday

- AUD $10 to $15 an hour depending on experience, plus a performance commission on every ad that becomes a winner

- Paid as a contractor; other clients are fine outside our hours

- Time tracked with Time Doctor

- Our process: a short free reasoning test, a 20-minute call, a free role test (about 45 minutes), then a paid brief: 3 ads in 48 hours
