You enjoy learning about a client's financial situation, as well as educating and helping people to meet their financial goals. 

Responsibilities  

Breaking the mold of a traditional contact centre environment, theSmartFolioadvisor is responsible to primarily support clients in the inbound call queue. A successful advisor will invoke trust and build strong client relationships,determineindividual investmentneedsandprovideprofessional advice to ensure client’s financial goals are met. Advisors will support clients with various requests such asportfolio reviews,onboarding, account access, contributions, withdrawals etc. Advisors will alsobe requiredto fulfills sales and service activities for the customerin accordance withapproved procedures. 

Qualifications 

We are seeking candidates whoexhibita strong desireto work in a fast-paced environment and whotruly wantto make a difference in the lives of our clients. Successful candidates will have:

Minimum of four (4) years of relevant industry experience, OR

- A post‑secondary degree or diploma

Completed the coreproficiencycomponents for IR licensing, including:

- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)

-

Conduct & Practices Handbook Course (CPH)

or

-
Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)

-
Familiarity withcommonwealthmanagement strategies and their relative strengths and weaknesses

Excellent communication, time management, and listening skills

BilingualisminFrench and English is astrong asset. BilingualisminEnglish and Cantonese or Mandarin willalsobe considered an asset

Salary :

$37,000.00 - $70,000.00 Pay Type:

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
