Account Manager | Lumber & Building Materials Join Epicor as an Account Manager! The Account Manager serves as the primary commercial relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of Epicor Lumber & Building Materials customers. The AM is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, understanding business priorities, identifying expansion opportunities, creating pipeline, and growing recurring revenue through Epicor software and services. This is a proactive sales role. Successful AMs know their customers, connect Epicor solutions to meaningful business outcomes, manage opportunities with discipline, maintain accurate forecasts, and take ownership of territory and quota performance. What you will be doing: - Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, decision makers, and executives while serving as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned accounts. - Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, goals, challenges, current Epicor solutions, whitespace opportunities, and future growth potential. - Proactively identify, qualify, and develop expansion opportunities within assigned accounts through account planning, customer engagement, and thoughtful prospecting. - Lead value-based sales conversations that connect customer needs to measurable business outcomes and clearly communicate the value of Epicor software and services. - Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle by understanding business needs, timing, stakeholders, investment expectations, decision criteria, and risks while establishing clear next steps and maintaining momentum. - Coordinate Solution Engineers and other cross-functional Epicor resources to support customer needs and advance sales opportunities. - Develop and maintain forward-looking account and territory plans that support pipeline creation, revenue growth, and quota attainment. - Maintain accurate and current opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce, Clari, and other sales systems; identify and communicate material risks or changes in a timely manner. - Use available sales tools, including Gong, to prepare for customer conversations, capture insights, strengthen follow-through, and improve sales effectiveness. - Maintain working knowledge of BisTrack, Epicor add-on products, and strategic applications, and participate in regular customer-facing travel and account visits as needed. What you will likely bring: - Strong consultative and value-based selling skills, with the ability to understand customer business challenges and position solutions around measurable outcomes. - Ability to build and manage customer relationships across multiple stakeholder levels and develop account strategies that support retention, expansion, and long-term growth. - Strong sales execution and commercial judgment, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, and disciplined follow-through. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-management skills. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, personal accountability, and ability to independently manage territory priorities and customer commitments. What will set you apart: - 3+ years of applicable sales or account management experience with demonstrated success achieving revenue, pipeline, or sales objectives. - Software, technology, or solution-selling experience preferred. - Multiple years of experience or familiarity with the lumber, building supply, or building materials industry preferred. - Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform; familiarity with sales forecasting and conversation-intelligence tools preferred. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
