About Nox Sleep

We're a premium sleep-optimization brand for high performers — athletes, founders, and ambitious people who treat their recovery as seriously as their training. We're building our content engine and need a skilled video editor to turn raw footage and our existing graphic designs into polished short-form Reels for Instagram and TikTok. You'll be the person who makes our content look like a real brand: clean, premium, and scroll-stopping.

What you'll do

You'll edit 8–12 vertical Reels per month (with room to grow) from assets we provide — raw footage, product clips, B-roll, music, and a brief for each one. Specifically:

Cut and assemble footage and B-roll into finished vertical Reels (9:16), and adapt to 4:5 and 1:1 when needed

Pace edits to music — cut on the beat, build rhythm, and hook the viewer in the first 3 seconds

Add clean, on-brand burned-in captions (most people watch on mute)

Color grade to our brand look — deep midnight-blue, cinematic, premium, and consistent across every video

Add text overlays, titles, and simple motion graphics in our brand style

Animate our existing infographics — we have a library of designed static graphics (sleep-science data visualizations) that we need animated into Reels: numbers counting up, charts drawing themselves in, text appearing in sequence. This is a key part of the role.

Export correctly for each platform, properly compressed, no quality loss

What we're looking for

Proven experience editing short-form vertical content (Instagram Reels / TikTok) — please show examples in your application

Strong motion-graphics skills — you can animate text, numbers, charts, and simple data visualizations, not just cut clips. This is essential.

Fluent in a professional editor — Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut (desktop/Pro)

A real eye for pacing, hooks, captions, and clean typography — you understand what makes a Reel actually perform, not just how to use the software

Able to match a consistent brand color grade across many videos

Fast, reliable turnaround (24–48 hours per Reel) and clear communication

Good written English — enough to follow briefs and give/receive feedback

Self-directed — you can take a brief and raw assets and deliver without needing hand-holding on every cut

Nice to have

Experience with health, fitness, wellness, or e-commerce/DTC brands

Ability to find and suggest licensed music and sound effects

Basic product/photo editing and retouching
