About Rytech Restoration

For over 30 years, our founder recognized the need for real improvement in the water damage restoration industry, and in 1995 Rytech was built around that idea. Today Rytech is a trusted name in water and fire damage restoration and mold remediation, known for being fast, efficient, and consistent when property owners need help the most.

Rytech is part of Fortify Companies, a growing platform that aligns insurance carriers, property owners, and service providers across prevention, response, restoration, and rebuild. Behind every job is a team that leads with integrity, treats people like family, and takes real pride in doing the job right.

The Role

Rytech is looking for an Updater to help keep our mitigation assignments moving from first assignment through final close. Working remotely on a Monday to Friday schedule, you will track and maintain open assignments, keep customers informed on the status of their claim, and serve as the communication link between Rytech Field Technicians, Franchise Owners, Operations Managers, and Insurance Companies.

This is a desk oriented, data entry intensive role, well suited to someone who is organized, detail focused, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of internal and external partners every day.

Key Responsibilities

•    Track mitigation assignments from beginning to end, ensuring accurate and timely status updates throughout the life of each claim.

•    Assist in the review and maintenance of active assignments to keep information complete and current.

•    Track and report daily activities using the Excel tracker.

•    Communicate claim updates from Rytech Field Technicians to Rytech customers, both by phone and through data entry.

•    Communicate and correspond with Franchise Owners, Operations Managers, Technicians, and Insurance Companies to provide exceptional customer service.

•    Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.

What Success Looks Like

•    Assignment Accuracy: Mitigation assignments are tracked and updated accurately from assignment through close.

•    Timely Communication: Claim status updates are communicated to customers promptly and clearly.

•    Reliable Reporting: Daily activity tracking is completed consistently and submitted on time.

•    Partner Satisfaction: Franchise Owners, Technicians, and Insurance Company partners report responsive, high quality service.

Who You Are

•    Detail oriented and comfortable with heavy, accurate data entry every day.

•    A clear, patient communicator who can translate field updates into customer friendly language.

•    Adaptable and quick to learn new software systems and tools.

•    Motivated to keep assignments moving and partners informed, even when juggling multiple priorities.
