Treasury & Liquidity Specialist
Who We Are
Yellow Card is the largest licensed Stablecoin-based infrastructure provider operating across over 60 countries. From Stablecoin payment infrastructure to fiat settlement rails, wallet services, and custom local Stablecoin issuance, Yellow Card provides the complete infrastructure businesses need to manage Stablecoins, payments, and operations across 50 emerging markets.
Yellow Card operates with a substantial global team spanning 24 countries. This workforce is characterized by its linguistic diversity, with collective speaking of over 25 languages, underscoring the company’s extensive international reach.
This is a hands-on treasury role sitting at the centre of how Yellow Card moves money. You will be responsible for making sure liquidity is where it needs to be, in the right currency, across our banks, liquidity providers, and offshore accounts, so that payouts, settlements, and trades are never held up for lack of funds. Day to day, that means moving capital between accounts, executing wires and stablecoin trades, and reacting fast when a payment is blocked because an account has run dry. You will report to the Head of Liquidity & Custody and work alongside the team's Liquidity and Pricing Specialist, who owns rate-setting and forecasting; this role owns execution, getting the money where it needs to be, accurately and on time.
What You'll Do
Liquidity & Cash Management:
- Execute offshore and local fund movements between Yellow Card 's banks and liquidity providers to keep accounts funded for USD, EUR, GBP and other local-currency payouts.
- Monitor account balances daily across banks and liquidity providers, and top up accounts proactively rather than waiting for a payment to be blocked.
- Initiate wires, ACH, and SWIFT transfers across our banking partners within approval limits.
- Trade with liquidity providers to convert stablecoin to fiat (and fiat to stablecoin) to rebalance exposure and fund payouts, locking rates directly with liquidity provider trading desks where needed.
- Assist with liquidity movements, planning and projections, and the management of capital cycles and repayments.
Banking & Liquidity Partner Relationships:
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for Yellow Card 's liquidity providers and banking partners across our African markets, the US, the UK and EU.
- Coordinate wallet whitelisting and clean-up with liquidity providers whenever banking or wallet infrastructure changes.
- Monitor counterparty exposure and settlement risk on liquidity partners, and escalate access, settlement, or counterparty issues promptly.
Settlement, Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Reconcile liquidity provider and bank statements against internal records to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and balance discrepancies, including trades executed directly with liquidity providers outside of standard portal statements.
- Collect and maintain monthly liquidity provider statements to support month-end close.
- Maintain accurate, complete records of all fund movements and payment transactions.
- Support treasury risk reporting by generating treasury dashboards covering liquidity.
Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Support:
- Process and review customer refunds.
- Support funding approvals for opex and payroll liquidity needs.
- Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Product/Engineering on liquidity-impacting issues, incidents, or new market and product launches.
- Document processes as you run them and cross-train with other members of the Liquidity team, so day-to-day execution never depends on one person alone.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on treasury or liquidity operations experience at a crypto exchange, stablecoin/fintech company, or financial institution and are able to step directly into daily execution with minimal ramp-up.
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline; advanced
