Supplier Quality Specialist - External Manufacturing

Base salary:   Minimum 1450€ / monthly (depending on experiences and quality of the candidate)

About the role:

The Supplier Quality Engineer supports complex and strategic projects which maintain and enhance the Convatec ´s Global Supplier Quality Programme.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong quality partnerships with suppliers to ensure high standards of performance and compliance.

Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

-
Support supplier selection, evaluation, qualification, and approval processes.

-
Lead and support investigations of supplier-related quality issues, non-conformances (NCs), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

-
Plan and conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective resolution.

-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders worldwide to address quality-related challenges.

Identify potential risks and support compliance with regulatory and quality requirements within the medical device industry.

Work in accordance with international standards and regulations, including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and EU MDR.

Analyze quality data and trends to improve supplier performance and product quality.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.

Support additional quality-related activities as required to meet business and organizational needs.

Behaviors & Skills & Experience:

-
Minimum 2 years experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance.

-
A background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry.

-
Hands-on experience with quality investigations, NCs, CAPAs, and supplier corrective actions.

-
Knowledge of supplier audits and supplier quality management.

-
Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device regulations.

-
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

-
Comfortable working with systems such as SAP, TrackWise, Documentum, or similar tools.

-
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.

Qualifications/Education:

-
Bachelor's, Engineering, or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.

Good understanding of quality management systems and quality standards.

-
Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or ISO 13485) is an advantage, but not required.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
