Position: STEM Researcher — Computational Fields
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 35 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Design tasks by turning everyday research skills into engaging, multi-step tasks.

- Author solutions using Python and notebooks, ensuring rigor and precision.

- Define criteria for sound scientific reasoning versus superficial reasoning.

- Evaluate models by reviewing attempts and identifying immediate mistakes.

- Work as a team to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- MSc or PhD in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.

- 1+ years in an active research role.

- Experience with Python -based analysis, simulation, or data pipelines.

- Strong grounding in experimental design and hypothesis testing.

- Familiarity with Git , IDEs , and notebook environments .

Preferred

- Experience in AI training , model evaluation, or benchmark/task authoring.

- High attention to detail and creativity in task design.
