ROLE OVERVIEW
Our Accounting team is looking for a Corporate staff accountant with a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will participate in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations, assist with annual audit and quarterly reviews, and support ad-hoc projects. You will also collaborate with other teams within and outside of the Accounting Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.

Prepare journal entries, flux/variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations during month end close process.

Assist in implementing and documenting accounting procedures.

Collaborate with other teams outside of the Accounting Department (primarily Finance and Operations).

Answer financial and accounting questions by researching and interpreting data.

Assist with annual internal and external audits including preparation of required schedules, providing requested backup, and walking auditors through processes.

Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Other projects as necessary.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years accounting experience.

Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel.

An eye for process improvement, ability to challenge the status quo, and identify improvements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to think critically, take ownership, and see a process/project through to the end.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Adaptability, responsiveness to change, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
