Release Engineer - Job Description
Role Summary

- Support Enterprise Bundled Releases (EBR) and OFF‑EBR releases by coordinating deployments, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, helping in release documentation, executing deployment activities, and working with development, QA, environment, and operations teams to ensure successful releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Support release planning, deployment preparation, and release execution activities.

- Execute and monitor application deployments across Non‑Production and Production environments.

- Prepare and maintain deployment runbooks, implementation plans, and release documentation.

- Support rollback and post-release validation activities.

- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket and GitHub.

- Track release activities, issues, risks, and dependencies through Jira and CRR processes.

- Coordinate with cross functional teams during release execution.

Required Skills

- Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Bitbucket, YAML Pipelines.

- Terraform, Shell/PowerShell scripting, Python (preferred), AWS deployment concepts.

Communication & Behavioral Skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support critical release windows.

- Proactive issue identification and escalation mindset.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or Deployment Management.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment activities.

- Exposure to Production and Non‑Production release support.

English level: Advanced. REMOTE This position is remote. They can be from all Mexico. Candidates hired will work on Canada Time zone. There is a posibility of shfts in the future. To be confirm.
