We are seeking aninitiative-taking and experienced Solar Engineer with strong Commercial skillsto join our team. As a Solar Engineer, you will design, develop, and overseephotovoltaic (PV) and battery systems for residential, commercial, andutility-scale projects.

Your responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
System Design:
·CreateSolar PV array layout.

- AC,DC and communications cable path layouts

- Single-linediagrams, schematics and blueprints using CAD software.

- Batterysystems: appropriate load to back-up.

Equipment Selection:

- Selectoptimal solar panels, inverters, and storage batteries.

·Selectappropriately sized cable wiring,

- Selectappropriately sized switch gear and other electrical components.

Project Oversight:
·Guideinstallation teams

- Investigatesystem performance (Quality Assurance)

- Ensurecompliance installation is installed as per compliance.

- Followingup on quotes (not lead gen but discussing the scope of service in detail withthe potential customer)

Candidates must have:

- Bachelor’sdegree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

- Proficiencyin AutoCAD OR Python , solar modeling software, and knowledge of localelectrical codes.

·Goodcommunication skills

- Proficiencyin Word and Excel

- Mustbe flexible and be able to work to tight deadlines.

- Previousexperience in a similar role is essential

- Theability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.

- Beflexible and progressive in thinking and be able to action thoughts.

·Proficientskills in excel

- Experiencein BESS , smart grids

·Experiencein near maps is a PLUS

- Backgroundin PVSYST is a PLUS
