Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans.

- Create and execute automated and manual test cases for SaaS based web applications.

- Identify and report bugs and work with development teams to resolve them.

- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using modern JavaScript based end-to-end automation tools.

- Contribute towards enhancing and maintaining the automation framework.

- Design, develop and execute automated API tests.

- Perform performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the scalability of our applications.

- Ensure that all testing activities meet our standards for quality and consistency.

- Work with development teams to integrate automated tests into our continuous integration and deployment processes.

- Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and methodologies and make recommendations for process improvements.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in modern programming languages, automated testing frameworks and testing methodologies.

- Own the test automation strategy and roadmap, determining what gets automated, when, and why.

- Mentor junior automation engineers and conduct code reviews on test automation to grow team capabilities.

- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve testing velocity and reduce release cycles.

- Define and maintain automation with the best practices and standards across the engineering team.

- Partner with product and engineering leadership to identify testing gaps and compliance risks in healthcare workflows.

- Implement intelligent test failure analysis to automatically identify root causes (flaky network calls, timing issues, data state problems) and reduce manual triage overhead.

- Leverage AI-driven test case generation from requirements and API specifications to identify edge cases and improve coverage, particularly for regulatory and compliance workflows.

- Deploy performance anomaly detection models to establish baselines and flag performance regressions across builds before they reach production.

- Utilize coverage gap identification tools to analyze untested code paths and ensure comprehensive testing, critical for healthcare compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on testing and test automation of SaaS based web applications.

- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with modern JavaScript based end to end automation tools such as Cypress, CodeceptJS, and Playwright.

- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks like Postman, Katalon, or REST Assured.

- Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration and deployment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
