Social Media Content Creator (Sports Video Editor)

We are expanding our digital content team and are looking for a skilled video editor with virtual assistant experience to join us, with a strong focus on sports content editing.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant Video Editor for an immediate hire to assist with sports video content creation and editing. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a good sense of storytelling, and a passion for creating high-energy, engaging sports video content. Familiarity with CapCut and Adobe Premiere is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit sports video content, ensuring high-quality production and alignment with brand standards

• Assist with video project management, including organizing video assets and timelines

• Create dynamic social media clips and short-form sports content from longer video assets

• Add graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and sports-style transitions/effects to enhance video quality

• Communicate effectively with the content team to meet deadlines and ensure project alignment

• Review and suggest improvements to existing video projects, especially for engagement and pacing in sports edits

• Perform additional virtual assistant tasks, such as scheduling, file organization, and responding to email s as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing sports or high-energy video editing work

• Proficiency in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere (experience in both is a plus)

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and sports content formats (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time

• Excellent communication skills

• Availability to work weekends with immediate start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, CapCut or any video editing tools

• Experience with sports brands, athletes, or sports-related content creation
