About the Role

I'm a real estate agent serving Sugar Land and Richmond, Texas, looking for an experienced SEO and AI Search Specialist to strengthen my online visibility, improve local Google rankings, and help my business become more discoverable through AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

Hands-on AEO/GEO experience is required. We are specifically looking for someone who has implemented strategies to improve business visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews—not simply someone who uses AI tools.

I'm looking for someone proactive, analytical, and results-driven who understands both traditional SEO and AI-powered search.

Key Responsibilities

- Local SEO & Google Business Profile: Improve local search rankings, optimize GBP, strengthen local citations, and increase visibility for relevant real estate searches.

- Website SEO Audits & Improvements: Audit our existing Wix website, identify opportunities, recommend changes, and implement approved improvements. Continue monitoring performance and suggesting future optimizations.

- AEO/GEO & AI Visibility: Develop and implement strategies to improve business visibility, authority, and discoverability across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

- Content Optimization: Recommend improvements to existing service pages, community pages, blogs, and FAQs to strengthen search visibility and local authority.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor Google rankings, organic traffic, local visibility, and AI search presence. Provide simple reports and actionable recommendations.

Required Experience

- Proven hands-on experience in SEO, Local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization.

- Demonstrated experience implementing AEO/GEO strategies to improve business visibility in AI-powered search platforms.

- Technical SEO, structured data/schema markup, and content optimization.

- Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools.

- Ability to demonstrate previous work with measurable results.

- Excellent written and spoken English, strategic thinking, and independent problem-solving skills.

Experience with U.S. local businesses, real estate, or Wix is a plus.

Hours & Opportunity

- Approximately 10 hours per week, with potential to increase.

- Long-term opportunity.

- Regular working-hour overlap with U.S. Central Time for meetings and communication.
