Senior Technical Recruiter

This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter passionate about identifying exceptional talent across engineering, machine learning, and AI research. You will own highly specialized searches and build pipelines within some of the most competitive technical talent markets. Working closely with hiring managers, technical leaders, and research teams, you will translate complex requirements into focused recruiting strategies. The position combines strategic talent partnership with hands-on sourcing, candidate assessment, and end-to-end recruiting ownership. You will also advise hiring teams on market dynamics, talent availability, and competitive intelligence. As the organization grows, you will have the opportunity to strengthen recruiting processes, tools, and programs while delivering a high-touch candidate experience.

Accountabilities:
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical and AI research positions, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and closing.

- Recruit across AI research, machine learning, software engineering, infrastructure, and other highly specialized technical functions.

- Partner with technical leaders and hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and develop targeted hiring strategies.

- Build and maintain strong pipelines of exceptional passive candidates through research, targeted outreach, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing approaches.

- Develop a strong understanding of technology, research areas, and organizational priorities to communicate opportunities clearly and credibly to candidates.

- Assess candidates based on technical alignment, motivation, career objectives, and overall suitability for the role.

- Advise hiring teams on talent-market conditions, candidate availability, compensation, competitive intelligence, and search progress.

- Design structured and thoughtful interview processes that support consistent and informed hiring decisions.

- Deliver a transparent, responsive, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

- Maintain accurate candidate and hiring information in Greenhouse or a similar ATS and use recruiting metrics to identify challenges and improve outcomes.

- Contribute to the development of recruiting processes, tools, documentation, and programs as the organization scales.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including substantial experience hiring technical talent in high-growth technology environments.

- Proven track record recruiting AI Research Scientists, Research Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Software Engineers, or similarly specialized technical professionals.

- Experience sourcing and engaging highly sought-after passive candidates from leading technology companies, AI labs, startups, and academic research communities.

- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into focused, practical recruiting strategies.

- Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, technical communities, publications, conferences, referrals, networking, and research-driven methods.

- Experience partnering with senior engineering, research, and executive leaders as a trusted talent advisor.

- Excellent candidate assessment, communication, organization, stakeholder management, and offer-closing skills.

- Ability to manage multiple specialized searches and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Collaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to contribute wherever recruiting support is needed.

- Experience using Greenhouse or a comparable applicant tracking system.

- Experience recruiting for generative AI, computer vision, multimodal models, audio, video, 3D, language models, or related research areas is a plus.
