In this role you will own the full integration lifecycle, from requirements analysis and interface design, through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will combine deep CPI expertise with a strong understanding of integration patterns, API management, and message-based architectures, and will partner with functional consultants, enterprise architects, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom Groovy and Java scripts within CPI to implement complex transformation, validation, and routing requirements.

- Configure and operate a wide range of adapters (HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JMS, AS2, SFTP, REST, Salesforce, Ariba) to integrate SAP with cloud, on-premises, and partner systems.

- Implement secure communication channels, including OAuth2, mTLS, certificate-based authentication, and secure parameter management within CPI.

- Build robust error-handling, retry, and alerting mechanisms with strong observability into message flow and processing.

- Migrate legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, including assessment, redesign, and parallel run strategies.

- Configure and manage SAP API Management policies, throttling, security, and developer-portal experiences.

- Support performance tuning of high-volume integration scenarios, including pooling, parallel processing, and tenant capacity management.

- Document interface specifications, integration designs, and operational procedures, and lead knowledge transfer to support and operations teams.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and external integration partners to align technical designs with business processes.

- Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including root-cause analysis and structured incident response.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

- Five or more years of SAP integration experience, with at least three years on SAP Integration Suite / CPI.

- Strong hands-on experience with iFlow development, Groovy/Java scripting, and a wide range of CPI adapters.

- Solid understanding of integration patterns and middleware concepts.
