ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team in Mexico as a Senior Project Manager, where you will lead complex, large-scale SAP Fioneer core banking implementations for a Bank in LATAM. This role sits at the center of strategic transformation initiatives, driving end to end delivery excellence across multiple parallel programs while partnering directly with senior client leadership.

You will take ownership of full lifecycle core banking programs, from budgeting and planning through design, testing, migration, go live, and stabilization. Acting as a senior individual contributor, you will influence outcomes without formal people management, aligning expert teams across SAP Fioneer and the client organization to ensure disciplined execution, governance, and measurable results.

This is an opportunity for a decisive, structured, and results oriented leader to drive the modernization of a large bank in LATAM, establish scalable regional frameworks, and deliver sustainable transformation with long term impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end to end SAP Fioneer core banking implementations, ensuring full lifecycle ownership from budgeting and planning to deployment and stabilization.
- Drive multiple parallel programs simultaneously, managing complex structures with a variety sub project under a single client engagement.
- Partner directly with client leadership, acting as the primary senior delivery lead and trusted advisor.
- Establish strong governance, reporting, and status management frameworks, providing clear executive level insights for steering committees and decision forums.
- Embed structured project management discipline and hygiene across all initiatives, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability.
- Own financial oversight, including budget planning, tracking, and delivery control to ensure alignment with long term value and strategic objectives.

- Make and stand by critical decisions, prioritizing sustainable outcomes over short term appeasement.
- Align and coordinate internal SAP Fioneer teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
- Contribute to regional standardization by building scalable delivery frameworks and governance models to support future growth across Latin America.
- Actively participate in executive and steering committee meetings, delivering fact-based recommendations and enabling timely decision making.
- Support organizational change with patience and resilience, driving transformation in legacy environments with long term commitment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience leading end to end core banking transformation programs.
- Deep hands-on expertise core banking implementations, covering both functional and technical dimensions.
- Strong background in the banking industry, with exposure to large financial institutions.
- Demonstrated success managing complex program structures with multiple parallel initiatives.
- Experience working closely with senior client leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Extensive experience operating within Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proven financial and budget management ownership within large scale programs.
- Experience working in international and cross-cultural environments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Fluency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong understanding of SAP and core banking solutions and implementation frameworks.
- Proficiency in structured reporting, governance tools, and financial tracking mechanisms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting and steering materials.
