Summary: Overview: As a member of the ASPCA ’s Project Management Office—part of the Strategy Team—the Senior Project Manager plays a key role in advancing the ASPCA ’s mission through thoughtful planning, coordination, and execution. This individual partners across the organization to provide structure and accountability for complex initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our core value of TEAM. As part of this group, the Project Management Office (PMO) serves as a strategic engine for execution. Established in 2021, the PMO provides centralized oversight of the ASPCA ’s project portfolio, ensuring that resources, attention, and efforts are focused where they can drive the greatest value. Through a robust portfolio management framework, the PMO promotes strategic agility, supports dynamic resource alignment, and streamlines delivery so teams can stay focused on improving outcomes for animals. Together, the Strategy team and PMO foster a collaborative, mission‑driven environment where big ideas become actionable plans, cross‑functional partnerships thrive, and complex challenges are tackled with creativity and discipline. What You’ll Do The Senior Project Manager, Project Management Office plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives that advance the ASPCA ’s Strategic Framework. This individual partners closely with project sponsors, team leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are planned, organized, and executed with clarity, accountability, and consistency. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. They will provide strategic oversight and day-to-day management of large-scale projects, helping teams establish clear goals, manage timelines and scope, mitigate risks, and maintain momentum from project initiation through completion. To thrive in this role, they will need excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead productive meetings, foster engagement, and coach teams toward successful outcomes.
