Senior Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms.

- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

- Implement row-level security and data governance best practices.

- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and capabilities.

- Stay current with Power BI updates and industry trends to continuously improve reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI role.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.

- Experience with SQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).

- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.

- Microsoft Power BI certification.
