Education:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Market Research, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, data gathering, procurement intelligence, consulting, or industry report writing.

- Experience in preparing market intelligence reports, industry outlooks, procurement reports, or business reports is preferred.

- Prior exposure to secondary research, data analysis, unstructured data interpretation, and insight development is required.

- Experience with data visualization, dashboarding, or presentation tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Strong understanding of market intelligence, secondary research, supplier ecosystems, industry trends, demand-supply dynamics, pricing movements, and procurement-related business drivers.

- Ability to assess global and regional market developments and translate them into business-relevant insights for category, sourcing, and procurement stakeholders.

- Develop market intelligence reports covering market overview, demand-supply trends, pricing movements, supplier landscape, regional developments, risk outlook, and procurement implications.

- Conduct secondary research across industry reports, company disclosures, trade publications, regulatory updates, market databases, news sources, and other credible sources.

- Prepare clear, concise, and insight-led report sections with a strong storyline, executive summary, key takeaways, charts, tables, and chapter-specific commentary.

- Validate key facts, data points, and market claims through credible sources and maintain a clean citation trail, including source links, timestamps, and data notes where required.

- Work closely with SMEs, category managers, procurement teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and improve report accuracy and relevance.

- Edit and refine report content for clarity, consistency, grammar, formatting, flow, and alignment with the overall quarterly report structure.

- Create visual summaries, charts, dashboards, and presentation-ready slides using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

- Maintain version control, review comments, change logs, and publication readiness for assigned report sections.

- Incorporate stakeholder feedback and continuously improve report structure, research depth, visualization quality, and business usability.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to convert structured and unstructured information into clear insights.

- Excellent business writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex market developments in a concise and stakeholder-friendly manner.

- Strong ability to work with secondary sources, validate information, identify market signals, and develop evidence-backed analysis.

- High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail, editorial discipline, and ability to maintain consistency in language, formatting, storyline, and data references.

- Ability to manage timelines, work under publication cycles, and coordinate inputs from SMEs and cross-functional teams.
