The Enterprise Population Health Management Analytics team is responsible for providing vital information that enhances the consumer, patient, provider, and employee experience across Banner Health . The team takes pride in delivering information that is used to provide insight and support key decision-making processes across the organization and with our business partners. This unit supports the critical data analytics needs for Banner Health and delivering the right information in a timely manner supports Banner Health ’s mission of making health care easier, so life can be better.

As the data engineering lead, you will partner with the business in gathering requirements, evaluating, developing, and implementing solutions that meets the needs of our customers. You will partner with various IT teams and subject matter experts in prioritizing projects and monitoring progress to ensure that deliverables are implemented on time. You will ensure appropriate resourcing is available to support these projects. This is a remote position. In this role you would work Monday through Friday normal business hours 8am - 5pm and can be a remote position if you live in the following states only: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV & WY. No other states will be considered.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a high-level individual contributor with expertise in selected business or healthcare processes and participates in formulating system scope and objectives relative to the company’s requirements. The incumbent participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions system wide. Acts independently or as a leader of a team to provide knowledge, guidance, research and fact- finding expertise to define, design and modify specifications and processes of complex information systems. Responsible for establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications. Maintains current professional and technical knowledge.
