Senior Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a ground-floor engineering opportunity at a Series B fintech SaaS company building an AI-native platform for financial planning and analysis. You will work closely with technical leadership to design and deliver features that directly shape the product, with real impact on how finance teams operate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.

- Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.

- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.

- Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team culture.

- Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture.

- Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.

- Strong experience building frontends with React; balanced full-stack or strongly frontend-focused backgrounds are preferred.

- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience using MongoDB as an application database.

- Experience with BigQuery for analytics and querying large datasets.

- Familiarity with automated testing, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ability to own complex product features end to end, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate effectively with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Interest in AI-focused product engineering.

- Ability to work remotely from the Americas and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.

- A clearly differentiated engineering record showing outsized impact, not just solid senior-level execution.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $150,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States.
