About the Role

In this role, you will design and build sophisticated web experiences that enable customers and
end users to interact naturally and effectively with AI-powered digital agents. You will help
define how digital agents are delivered through web channels, creating intuitive, responsive,
accessible, and reliable experiences that bring Intermedia's agentic AI capabilities directly to
users.
You will work closely with Product, UX, backend engineering, AI/ML, and platform teams to
translate complex conversational and agentic capabilities into simple, trusted user experiences.
You will solve challenging frontend engineering problems involving real-time conversations,
streaming AI responses, dynamic interactions, embedded experiences, and transitions between
digital agents and human assistance.
As a senior technical contributor, you will influence frontend architecture and technical
direction, lead complex initiatives from design through production, and help establish
engineering standards and patterns that can scale across Intermedia's digital channels.
What You Will Be Doing
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications and frontend
capabilities that power interactions with Intermedia's digital agents.
• Build intuitive conversational experiences that enable users to interact naturally with AIpowered agents through web channels.
• Develop reusable web components and frontend capabilities that allow digital agent
experiences to be embedded across Intermedia products and customer-facing websites.
• Build responsive experiences for real-time and asynchronous AI interactions, including
streaming responses, typing and processing states, long-running operations, errors, and
interruptions.
• Develop user experiences that clearly communicate agent actions, status, results,
limitations, and requests for additional information.
• Build interaction patterns that support rich conversational experiences beyond text,
including structured content, forms, actions, links, files, and other interactive elements.
• Develop experiences that support effective transitions and handoffs between digital
agents and human assistance while maintaining appropriate conversation context.
• Partner with AI/ML and backend engineers to define APIs, events, data contracts, and
interaction patterns required to support digital agent experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product and UX to translate customer needs, conversational
design, and emerging AI capabilities into intuitive product experiences.
• Help define frontend architecture and reusable patterns for digital agent experiences
across web channels.
