Description
The Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, securing, and optimizing Triumph’s enterprise cloud and hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365/O365, and Exchange (Online + hybrid/prem). This role defines cloud architecture standards, drives modernization, and supporting mission‑critical Infrastructure Operations.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable solutions across Azure and AWS, including multi‑account Landing Zones, identity integrations, networking, governance baselines, and automation.
- Design and optimize hybrid environments leveraging Azure AD/Entra ID, AVD, core AWS services, security baselines, and resource organization.
- Support infrastructure strategy for major projects including ERP modernization, cloud migrations, identity automation, and security control implementations.
- Serve as senior technical owner of O365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Purview, and identity integrations.
- Architect and support Exchange hybrid & on‑prem environments including mail routing, security, PowerShell automation, and service recoverability.
- Align M365 configurations with cybersecurity requirements, identity governance, and compliance programs.
- Oversee identity architecture across Entra ID, Active Directory, federation/SSO, and conditional access.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in senior engineering/architect roles across Azure and AWS.
- Deep experience with O365 and Exchange (Online + hybrid/on‑prem).
- Strong knowledge of AD/Entra ID, identity lifecycle management, conditional access, and PowerShell.
- Expertise in hybrid infrastructure, networking, virtualization, security patterns, and enterprise operations. Scripting: Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and management.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Prior experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and ‘attention to detail’ skills.
- Excellent oral/written communications, organizational, teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate outstanding level of professionalism, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
- Drive and resourcefulness in making contributions both inside and outside assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work both independently (under consultative direction only) and as part of a team.
- Experience with managing work using a service desk ticket system.
- Some travel will be required for the purpose of meeting with site personnel, Management, and other stakeholders.
- Some evening and weekend work will be required.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
