Job Summary
The Senior Channel Specialist, Paid Search is an execution-focused role on ISC's Retail Marketing Team (RMT), sitting within the Channel Acquisition Team reporting to the Channel Manager. This person is the operational engine behind ISC's paid search programs across 5 retail business units. The Senior Channel Specialist owns the hands-on, daily execution of building and managing campaigns, monitoring partner placements, reconciling billing, and maintaining the data hygiene for optimal performance/ reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented performance marketer who thrives in a high-volume, multi-business unit environment with direct revenue impact.
Position Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day paid search campaign management across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads for all active ISC retail brands, including campaign builds, ad copy trafficking, bid adjustments, keyword maintenance, negative keyword management, and quality score monitoring.
- Monitor paid search campaign performance daily; flag anomalies in conversion rates, impression/ click share trends, CPL, and partner attribution to the Channel Manager and escalate data integrity issues to the Snr. Manager Marketing Analytics / Operations.
- Coordinate ad copy and landing page testing, reporting on findings and insights to enable performance improvements.
- Own monthly affiliate vendor billing reconciliation across all active partners; maintain accurate budget tracking records and surface material pacing variances to the Channel Manager and Finance.
- Ensure UTM parameter governance, pixel tagging accuracy, and affiliate tracking integrity across all active placements in coordination with the Snr. Manager Marketing Analytics / Operations; actively flag and help resolve attribution discrepancies.
- Support the Channel Manager in preparing weekly performance summaries, monthly channel reports, and competitive intelligence research across paid search and affiliate for the ISC retail brand portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with direct execution experience in paid search (Google Ads + Bing required).
- Practical experience managing paid search campaigns including keyword builds, ad copy trafficking, match type management, and bid adjustments; familiarity with value-based bidding strategies (target ROAS, target CPA) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage high task volume across multiple brands without sacrificing execution accuracy or SLA adherence.
- Proficient in Google Ads UI, SA360 Microsoft Ads UI, and Google Analytics 4 or comparable analytics tools; experience working with Looker or similar BI dashboards preferred.
- Solid understanding of UTM parameters, conversion tracking concepts, and pixel-based attribution; comfortable identifying and escalating tracking discrepancies.
- Collaborative team player who communicates proactively, takes direction well, and brings initiative in surfacing performance issues before they compound.
