THE ROLE

We’re looking for a senior designer who makes websites that feel like a brand, not a template. You’ll own how Rythm looks and speaks across the web, from the homepage to launch pages to campaigns, and set the visual bar for how a modern health brand should feel.

This role is for a designer whose work stands on its own: strong typography, confident layout, and art direction that makes a page memorable even without a big photo shoot behind it. Much of what we design explains science, so you’ll also need to take blood test results and biomarkers and make them clear, intuitive, and even beautiful for everyday people.

This is a hands-on role on a small team. Some projects come with full shoots and long timelines, and many don’t. We need someone who can make something great out of whatever is available and still enjoys doing the work themselves.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Own the creative direction of Rythm’s website, including the homepage, product pages, launches, campaigns, and editorial content.

- Design web experiences that lead with brand, using original layouts, expressive typography, motion, and art direction rather than templates.

- Make complex science easy to understand. Turn lab results, biomarkers, and health insights into visuals, diagrams, and page flows anyone can follow.

- Art direct imagery and illustration, and create graphic systems that work when there’s no photography to lean on.

- Extend and evolve the Rythm brand across digital, and help shape the brand system as we grow.

- Move fast on everyday requests without letting the craft slip.

- Work closely with Brand, Growth, Product, and Engineering, and partner with developers to make sure what ships matches the design.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- 7+ years of experience in brand and web design, including time at a well-known brand or a respected design studio.

- A portfolio that shows original, brand-led web work. We look closely at typography, layout, and graphic design, not just great photos.

- Proven ability to explain complex products or information clearly and with style.

- Strong art direction instincts across imagery, illustration, and motion.

- A hands-on approach: you lead the creative and you also do the work.

- Expert-level Figma skills. Motion or prototyping skills are a plus.

- A clear point of view and the ability to explain your design decisions.

- Exceptional taste and attention to detail.
