The Opportunity:
We are looking for a commercially driven and highly professional Sales Executive to join our growing team in Tokyo. This is not a conventional advertising sales role.

You will work with qualified sales opportunities generated primarily by our Business Development team and engage directly with C-suite executives, including presidents, CEOs, and other senior corporate leaders.

Using established media and marketing packages across TIME, FORTUNE, and Global Kigyo's broader portfolio, your role is to understand the opportunity, communicate its value effectively, build trust with senior decision-makers, negotiate commercial terms, and close business.
We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with confidence, professionalism, and executive presence required to represent premium international media brands at the highest corporate level.

Note: Visa sponsorship and status-of-residence renewal or change support may be available for eligible candidates already residing in Japan. Applicants must currently hold a valid Japanese status of residence. We are unable to sponsor first-time visa applications for candidates residing overseas.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and convert qualified sales opportunities generated primarily by Global Kigyo's Business Development team.
• Conduct sales meetings directly with C-suite executives, including presidents, CEOs, and other senior decision-makers.
• Present and sell established advertising, media, branded content, sponsorship, and marketing packages connected with TIME, FORTUNE, and Global Kigyo.
• Clearly communicate the strategic and marketing value of each opportunity to senior corporate audiences.
• Understand the client's broader priorities and identify which of Global Kigyo's existing solutions are most relevant.
• Manage the sales process from initial client meeting through follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for repeat and expanded business.

• Use established sales materials and proposal decks to communicate opportunities professionally and effectively.
• Coordinate closely with the Business Development, Editorial, Content, and Publication teams throughout the sales and delivery process.
•Maintain accurate opportunity and sales activity records using Salesforce.
• Share client feedback and market insights to help improve Global Kigyo's commercial approach and future offerings.
• Focus primarily on companies in Japan, with selected opportunities across other Asian markets.

Qualifications:
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, media, advertising, marketing, luxury, professional services, or another client-facing commercial role.
• Strong sales instincts and the ability to convert qualified opportunities into revenue.
• Native-level English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building ability.
• A polished, articulate, and professional communication style.
• The confidence and presence to engage directly with CEOs, presidents, and other senior corporate executives.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to understand the value of premium media and marketing opportunities.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly results oriented.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, international team.

We place greater importance on commercial ability, communication skills, judgment, and professional presence than on a specific academic background.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Japanese-language ability at any level is a plus, but Japanese is not required for the position.
• Experience selling premium, luxury, high-value, or consultative products and services.
