RECRUITMENT & SHIFT COORDINATOR – AUSTRALIAN HEALTHCARE (NDIS / AGED CARE) – EXPERIENCED ONLY

ABOUT US

MOR. Healthcare is an Australian healthcare recruitment and labour hire agency based in Victoria, operating for over 11 years. We place Disability Support Workers and Registered Nurses with NDIS and aged care providers.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment & Shift Coordinator to support our Labour Hire division. You will:

• Allocate workers to shifts, including last-minute and same-day shifts that need filling quickly

• Complete and maintain compliance documents for our workers

• Call workers to make sure they approve their timesheets through our app

• Call clients to make sure they approve timesheets so payroll can be processed on Fridays

• Assist with recruitment: screening, sourcing and updating candidate records

• Occasional after-hours cover as the business grows

HOURS

Starting with one day a week: Thursdays, 9:00am–5:00pm Melbourne time (currently 6:00am–2:00pm Philippine time). As we get busier, hours will increase, with the goal of progressing to full-time.

PAY

• Active hours: AUD $7.50/hr

• After-hours on-call (phone on, sleep permitted): AUD $3.00/hr

• After-hours call activation: AUD $7.50/hr (minimum 30 minutes per call)

Engaged as an independent contractor, paid weekly via Wise.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Previous experience working remotely for an Australian employer in NDIS, aged care, or healthcare recruitment

• Hands-on shift coordination experience: allocating workers to shifts, including ad hoc and last-minute fills

• A solid understanding of the Australian healthcare system and worker compliance (e.g. NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, certifications)

• Strong spoken and written English, comfortable calling Australian clients and workers

• Your own laptop, reliable internet and a mobile data backup

• An iPhone is strongly preferred, as our call system works best with Apple devices. Android phones do not work reliably with our setup.

• Highly organised, quick and proactive. You will be expected to hit the ground running.

We will orientate you to our systems and processes, but we cannot train someone new to the industry.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. Applications without Australian healthcare shift coordination experience will not be considered.

HOW TO APPLY

Use the subject line: Shift Coordinator – [Your Name]

At the top of your application, confirm the following:

• I have experience in shift coordination for an Australian NDIS, aged care or healthcare recruitment employer

• I have an iPhone

• I am available Thursdays, 9:00am–5:00pm Melbourne time, and open to more hours as the role grows

• I am available for occasional after-hours work (Yes / No)

• I have Australian referees to provide a reference for me (Yes / No)

Then answer these three questions:

1. Which Australian NDIS, aged care or healthcare recruitment company have you worked for, and for how long?

2. Briefly describe how you filled a last-minute shift. What steps did you take?

3. Which rostering or recruitment systems have you used?

Flights + hotels

This role requires you to be in the Philippines. If that means relocating or flying in, it is worth checking fares before you commit to a start date.
