REPORTS TO: Proposal Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Proposal Coordinator supports the development and delivery of compliant, compelling, and timely proposals for federal construction and infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with proposal managers and proposal specialists, subject matter experts, and technical teams to ensure high-quality submissions that align with federal acquisition regulations and client expectations.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process for federal solicitations, including response to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).
- Assist with analyzing solicitation documents and developing proposal outlines and compliance matrices.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams as needed (technical writers, estimators, and subject matter experts) to gather and organize proposal content.
- Format, edit, and proofread proposal documents to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance.
- Maintain proposal templates, resumes, project descriptions, and past performance data.
- Support color team reviews and incorporate feedback to improve proposal quality.
- Work flexible hours to meet critical deadlines.
- Apply knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal procurement processes to ensure compliance.
- Obtain and maintain past performance of company and affiliates.
What You'll Bring
Required Education, Certification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, English, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal coordination and development.
Preferred Education, Certification and Experience
- SMPS certification or similar credentials are a plus.
