The Opportunity
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate mortgage-focused initiatives that support business growth, operational excellence, platform readiness, and successful execution across the organization. This role is responsible for bringing structure, accountability, and momentum to cross-functional projects while applying Agile practices where appropriate.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented project leader who can balance flexibility with disciplined delivery, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and success measures in partnership with stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical feasibility, and organizational priorities
- Provide clear, consistent, and timely project communication, including status updates, risks, issues, decisions, and executive-level reporting
- Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, budgets, resource needs, and governance materials throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate evaluation of process, technology, hardware, and software options, including cost-benefit considerations and implementation impacts
- Identify, document, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and process control needs; escalate appropriately when impacts may affect delivery
- Track project performance against short-term and long-term goals, using data and metrics to identify trends, drive accountability, and support informed decision-making
- Lead mortgage-related projects using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate for the initiative
