About the Role
Sellax Roofing is looking for a self-directed Construction Project & Service Operations Coordinator to manage the daily coordination of our commercial roofing projects, emergency service calls, repairs, maintenance and warranty work.
This is not a basic administrative or data-entry position. You will be trusted to organize people, investigate problems, find answers and keep work moving without constant supervision.
You will coordinate customers, field employees, subcontractors, suppliers and management while protecting schedules, budgets and customer commitments.
What You Will Own

Maintain the production and service schedule.

Coordinate crews, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers.

Confirm that access, materials, equipment, labour and approvals are ready before work begins.

Manage emergency leak calls, repairs, maintenance visits and warranty callbacks.

Communicate appointments, progress, delays and next steps to customers.

Track daily production and organize recovery plans when work falls behind.

Investigate operational problems and implement practical solutions within your authority.

Bring management recommendations—not only problems—when approval is required.

Maintain accurate tasks, notes, labour hours, photographs, documents and communications in JobTread.

Track additional work, change requests and supporting documentation.

Review project budgets and compare estimated costs against actual labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.

Identify cost overruns, idle labour, wasted trips, missing costs and unbilled work.

Prepare complete project and service records for operational review and billing.

Turn recurring problems into better procedures, checklists and systems.
What We Are Looking For

Professional spoken and written English and Spanish.

Experience in construction coordination, field-service operations, property maintenance or a similar environment.

Strong leadership and the confidence to hold employees, subcontractors and suppliers accountable.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects and urgent service requests under pressure.

Strong independent problem-solving and research skills.

A proactive approach: identify risks and communicate before they become emergencies.

Knowledge of construction budgeting, job costing and basic financial analysis.

Ability to review budget-versus-actual costs, labour productivity and projected cost to complete.

Strong Excel, organizational and digital-system skills.

Professional customer communication and complaint-management skills.

Good judgment about when to act independently and when approval is required.

Persistence when the first solution does not work.

Reliable internet, computer and professional remote workspace.

Commercial roofing and JobTread experience are preferred but are not mandatory for someone with strong construction or field-service experience who can learn quickly.
