This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Compensation Analyst based in United States.

This senior-level role will help shape compensation strategies that support organizational objectives, market competitiveness, and equitable pay practices. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Compensation leadership and business stakeholders across enterprise-wide compensation programs. The position combines advanced analytics with program design, benchmarking, administration, and strategic consultation. You will analyze complex compensation data and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and executive decision-making. The role offers the opportunity to influence base pay, incentive programs, salary structures, pay equity, and compliance initiatives. You will work in a collaborative environment where data-driven recommendations directly support talent attraction, retention, and rewards. Occasional on-site participation will be required for critical strategic planning and leadership meetings throughout the year.

Accountabilities:
- Partner with Compensation leadership and organizational stakeholders to design, analyze, administer, and continuously improve enterprise-wide compensation programs.

- Provide strategic guidance on base pay, incentive compensation, salary structures, and other compensation initiatives.

- Conduct sophisticated market benchmarking and compensation analyses to evaluate competitiveness and support informed pay decisions.

- Analyze compensation data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate complex findings into clear recommendations for leaders and decision-makers.

- Support pay equity initiatives by conducting detailed analyses and helping develop strategies that promote consistent and equitable compensation practices.

- Contribute to compensation compliance activities and help ensure programs and practices remain aligned with applicable requirements and organizational standards.

- Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to leaders, providing data-driven insights and practical recommendations on complex compensation matters.

- Support the development and implementation of compensation solutions designed to attract, retain, motivate, and reward talent effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and compensation partners on enterprise-level projects, program enhancements, and strategic initiatives.

- Leverage advanced analytical tools and data modeling techniques to improve compensation reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

Requirements

- 7–10+ years of professional compensation experience, including experience supporting complex or enterprise-wide compensation programs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.

- Strong background in compensation analytics, compensation operations, market benchmarking, and data-driven program analysis.

- Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated ability to build and work with sophisticated data models and large compensation datasets.

- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or comparable systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify meaningful insights from complex data.

- Excellent business acumen and the ability to connect compensation analysis with broader organizational and talent objectives.

- Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain technical compensation concepts and analytical findings to leaders and stakeholders.

- Experience supporting pay equity, compensation compliance, or related strategic compensation initiatives is valuable.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is preferred.
