👩‍🏫 Position

The Children’s Education Department partners with privately owned kindergartens and nursery schools to deliver high-quality English programs for young learners. We dispatch foreign teachers to teach students aged 1–6 at client schools primarily located in East Japan, including Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa prefectures.

This role offers flexible weekday morning scheduling, making it well suited for candidates seeking supplemental income, freelance work, or a schedule that accommodates parenting or academic commitments.

📍 Locations

We work with kindergartens and nurseries throughout the greater Tokyo area. Teaching assignments are determined based on the applicant’s current place of residence.

Example areas include:
Tokyo - 23 wards and outside 23 wards
Chiba - Kashiwa, Matsudo, Funabashi, Tsudanuma, Chiba, Tsukuba Express Line, etc.
Saitama - Omiya, Tokorozawa, Kumagaya, Kasukabe, etc.
Kanagawa - Yokosuka, Chigasaki, Fujisawa, Tsurugamine, etc.
We also have clients in Tochigi (Utsunomiya city), Gunma (Takasaki city), and Ibaraki (Tsukuba city).

📝Curriculum and Teaching Materials

All curriculum and teaching materials are provided by ECC. Teachers are not required to prepare their own curriculum or use personal teaching materials, making this a great position for newer teachers.

⌚Worktime

Exact working hours may vary depending on the needs of each kindergarten.

In general, lessons are held during morning hours.

Example schedules:
9:30 AM – 11:40 AM
9:00 AM – 10:45 AM

👔Additional Work Opportunities

In addition, the ECC Children’s Education Department collaborates with the ECC Junior Department to provide English teachers for special event lessons and English evaluation exams conducted on weekends and national holidays. Teachers hired for this position may be eligible for additional paid work opportunities through the ECC Junior Department.

✅Requirements

- Legally allowed to work in Japan
- Currently residing in the Nagoya area
- Experience with teaching young learners
- Native proficiency of English
