Compensation: Starting at $308,000

We're looking for a Psychiatrist to join one of our behavioral healthcare partners in a 100% remote outpatient setting based in Virginia, treating children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5–21. This full-time role offers the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team so you can focus on delivering meaningful, patient-centered care.
You'll work alongside behavioral health professionals and a robust administrative support team, allowing you to focus on what matters most: providing excellent patient care.
About the Role:

Setting: 100% Remote | Outpatient Clinic based in Virginia

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Clinic hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM ET
- Tuesday & Thursday: Clinic hours are 8:30 AM–7:00 PM ET
- Provider will work one late evening per week until 7:00 PM ET

Patient Population: Ages 5–21

Diagnoses: General mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), autism, and other behavioral health conditions

Appointments: 60 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for follow-up appointments

Administrative Time: 60 minutes per day

Remote & Supported: Fully remote opportunity with comprehensive administrative, operational, and telehealth support

Virginia Licensure Support: An active Virginia medical license is preferred but not required. Iris is willing to consider candidates who are not currently licensed in Virginia and will provide licensing support, including applicable licensing fees.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
- Active Virginia medical license preferred, but not required; Iris will support eligible candidates with obtaining Virginia licensure
- Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, including one evening per week until 7:00 PM ET
- Experience and comfort treating children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5–21
- Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels
- Telehealth experience preferred (experience using Cred
