Oracle/PL/SQL Developer

Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a PL/SQL Developer specializing in Oracle Forms & Reports to support our US Government client.

- This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.

- Must be a US Citizen.

- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

- Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems.

- Use expertise to design, develop, code, test, and debug software.

- Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.

- Provide analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.

- Provide basic design, build or maintenance of software, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.

- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.

- Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.

- 5+ years of Oracle related experience required.

- Solid PL/SQL experience.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS 12c or higher.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports.

- Oracle APEX experience is a PLUS.

- Prior experience working with Agile Methodology.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).

- Must be to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.

- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.

- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
