Full-Time | Remote — Philippines | $1,200–$1,500 USD/month (depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities)

Are you the kind of person who sees what needs to be done—and makes it happen?

We're looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly resourceful Online Business Manager (OBM) to become the right hand to the founder of a growing U.S.-based life insurance agency.

This is NOT a traditional Virtual Assistant position.

We're not looking for someone who simply waits for instructions, checks tasks off a list, or needs to be told what to do next.

We're looking for someone who thinks like a business owner, takes initiative, solves problems, builds systems, and knows how to turn ideas into completed projects.

Someone who doesn't just identify problems but comes prepared with solutions.

Someone who genuinely wants to understand the business, become invested in its success, and play an important role in helping it grow.

If you're someone who enjoys creating order out of chaos, building processes, improving operations, and making life easier for a busy entrepreneur, we'd love to hear from you.

*ABOUT US*

Overflow Life & Legacy is a growing U.S.-based independent life insurance agency affiliated with Symmetry Financial Group.

We help families protect what matters most while building an expanding organization of insurance professionals and agency leaders.

Our agency is entering an important season of growth. We're expanding our recruiting efforts, developing new agents, strengthening our systems, and putting the infrastructure in place to support a much larger organization.

We've reached a point where the founder needs more than administrative assistance.

We need an experienced operational partner who can help turn vision into execution.

You'll work directly with the agency owner, helping manage the day-to-day operations while building systems that allow the business to grow more efficiently.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact—not simply maintain existing processes.

*WHAT YOU'LL OWN*

1. Business Operations & Executive Support

Become the founder's right hand in keeping the business organized, efficient, and moving forward.

You'll manage email inboxes, coordinate communications and follow-ups, organize priorities, oversee administrative workflows, and make sure important responsibilities don't fall through the cracks.

Your job is to help the founder stay focused on the highest-value activities while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

2. Project Management & Implementation

This is one of the most important parts of the role.

The founder frequently develops new ideas, strategies, and initiatives to improve and grow the agency.

We need someone who can take those ideas, ask the right questions, develop an implementation plan, and drive projects through completion.

You'll establish timelines, organize tasks, manage deadlines, coordinate resources, and take responsibility for execution.

We don't want someone who simply tracks projects. We want someone who makes sure projects get finished.

3. Systems, Processes & Automation

You'll identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, create SOPs, organize business systems, and implement improvements that help us operate more effectively.

We're looking for someone who enjoys evaluating how things currently work and finding ways to make them better.

You'll work with tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, spreadsheets, and automation tools.

You don't need to know every platform we use, but you should be highly comfortable learning new systems and figuring out how to make them work together.

4. Recruiting & Agent Onboarding Operations

Recruiting and developing insurance agents is a major part of our growth strategy.

You'll help oversee the operational side of our recruiting pipeline, including candidate tracking, interview coordination, follow-up systems, licensing progress, onboarding, and new agent activation.

You'll also identify bottlenecks, improve processes, coordinate with recruiting partners, and help create systems that support a growing team.

You won't be responsible for personally conducting every interview or training agents to sell insurance. Your responsibility is to help ensure the operational systems supporting those activities are effective.

5. Business Reporting & Performance Dashboards

You'll create and maintain dashboards that give us visibility into recruiting, onboarding, agency performance, and other important business metrics.

But we don't just want someone who enters numbers into spreadsheets.

We want someone who can look at the information, recognize patterns, identify problems, and recommend improvements.

6. Marketing & Growth Coordination

You'll help coordinate marketing initiatives, content schedules, recruiting campaigns, and other growth-related projects.

This includes organizing deliverables, managing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring initiatives move from planning to execution.

You don't need to be a graphic designer, video editor, or marketing specialist. You do need to know how to organize and manage marketing projects successfully.

*WHAT OWNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE*

Let's say the founder shares an idea:

"We need a better onboarding process so new agents can get started faster and begin producing sooner."

A traditional assistant might wait for instructions on exactly what to do.

You would approach it differently.

You'd review the existing process, identify where agents are getting stuck, research potential improvements, and develop a proposed solution.

After discussing the plan with the founder, you'd take ownership of implementation, establish the necessary workflows, coordinate the moving parts, and monitor the results.

And once the project is completed, you'd look for ways to make it even better.

That's the mindset we're looking for.

You'll have the freedom to recommend improvements and make appropriate day-to-day operational decisions within agreed guidelines. Major strategic, financial, and business decisions will remain with the founder.

*WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR*

We're looking for someone with proven experience managing business operations and independently executing projects, ideally while working directly with an entrepreneur or business owner.

Required Qualifications:

-> 3–5+ years of relevant experience in online business management, operations management, or project management.

-> Demonstrated success taking projects from concept through implementation.

-> Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

-> Experience developing systems, workflows, and SOPs.

-> Excellent organizational and project management skills.

-> Strong written and spoken English communication.

-> Experience managing competing priorities without constant supervision.

-> Confidence working with spreadsheets, CRMs, project management systems, and other online business tools.

-> The ability to understand how different parts of a business work together.

-> Comfort working in a growing business where not every process has already been documented.

-> Bonus Qualifications:

-> Experience working directly with U.S.-based business owners.

-> Experience managing operations in sales, recruiting, or service-based businesses.

-> Familiarity with Notion, GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, and automation platforms.

-> Experience coordinating marketing initiatives or remote team members.

-> Experience creating and improving business reporting dashboards.

Previous life insurance experience is not required. We're far more interested in your operational capabilities, business judgment, and willingness to learn.

*THE KIND O PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE*

You're naturally curious about how businesses work.

You don't just complete assignments—you understand why they matter.

You ask thoughtful questions, but you're also resourceful enough to research solutions independently.

You're comfortable respectfully challenging an idea when you see a better way to accomplish the objective.

You communicate proactively, take accountability seriously, and follow through on commitments.

You can distinguish between what's urgent and what's important, and you know how to prioritize when several things need attention.

Most importantly, you take pride in making the business better because you were part of it.

If you prefer a role where every task is clearly outlined and someone else makes all the decisions, this probably isn't the best fit.

But if you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems, and contributing to the growth of a business, this could be an excellent opportunity.
