Media Specialist (Podcasting, Content Creation, Video/Audio Editing)

We need a world-class Media Specialist with experience specific to podcast editing, video editing, social media, and graphic design.

You will learn a lot and develop new skills in this role. We have an environment where we give each other feedback and help each other grow. We have a team of five, and our sixth employee will join an incredibly collaborative, supportive team.

Given the nature of this type of work, the position is one that could offer a long-term relationship.

Training will be provided to ensure you are set up for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

- Edit full-length podcast episodes recorded through Riverside in both audio and video form

- Edit audio and video, including sound effects, background music, and the ability to alter voices in the recording (listen to an episode of “Unstuck with Jay Abbasi” to learn more)

- Edit video with b-roll and dynamic text to captivate the viewer

- Create artwork and thumbnails for social media posts (LinkedIn, YouTube, and IG)

- Create clips for social media from a multitude of sources, including podcast recordings, recorded keynotes, and selfie videos

Requirements:

- Fluency in English

- Strong internet connection

- Above-average tech skills (speed is a must)

- Skilled in the art of “hooking” an audience

- Timeliness

- Great communication

- A fun and positive person

- Someone who can come up with creative ideas on their own

Preferred that you are familiar with:

- CapCut or a similar program for video editing

- Canva or a similar program for graphic design (i.e. Adobe)

- Riverside
