Your role
ShareGate is a close to $100M ARR business that grows through two very different engines: inbound and channel. We've just finished our CRM migration and locked down our revenue architecture, which means for the first time the data is clean enough to answer the question we've never been able to answer properly — what marketing actually drives revenue, and where the next dollar should go. This role exists to own that answer. You'll be the analytical counterpart to our marketing ops lead, working side by side with ShareGate's Director of Marketing to turn campaign and attribution data into decisions the marketing team and the exec team can act on.
Your impact:
- Own ShareGate's marketing attribution architecture across HubSpot and HockeyStack, and translate funnel data into exec-ready narratives, so attribution questions get one clear answer;
- Drive marketing performance by diagnosing what's working and what isn't across inbound and channel, so budget shifts to the highest-return programs every quarter instead of every fiscal year;
- Build the reporting and diagnostic layer for ShareGate marketing — campaign performance, funnel conversion, source quality — so the team plans against measured conversion rates, not assumptions;
- Integrate AI into the analysis workflow — we run on Claude — to compress the time from question to answer from days to hours, and to make deep-dive analysis a weekly habit rather than a quarterly project.
Your team
The next 6 to 12 months are a build. This role has never existed at Workleap , and you're inheriting a business that just finished cleaning its foundations: the CRM migration is done, the revenue architecture is set, and attribution visibility is still scattered across two systems. Your first mandate is to make that architecture coherent and legible — then use it to tell ShareGate's marketing team where to invest and where to pull back.
RevOps at Workleap is split into two halves. One is Systems & Operations, which owns automation, CRM architecture and AI GTM tooling. The other — yours — is a group of GTM business partners embedded with the business units they serve, accountable for their stakeholder's performance: forecasting, funnel conversion, quota attainment, velocity. You'll report to the Director of RevOps and pair tightly with our Marketing Ops Manager, who owns the systems and campaign execution, while you own the data and its interpretation.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years in marketing operations or marketing analytics at a B2B SaaS, software or fintech company;
- Deep hands-on HubSpot expertise — non-negotiable. You've built, broken and rebuilt campaign, lifecycle and reporting logic inside it;
- A real command of attribution models — first touch, last touch, multi-touch — and the judgment to know which one answers which question;
- Fluency with the mechanics underneath: UTM governance, lead routing and round robins, lifecycle stages, source and channel taxonomy;
- An analyst's instinct: you chase the "why" behind a number before anyone asks you to;
- The ability
