ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of Licensing and Credentialing at Daymark and grow it into a real function. You’ll be responsible for keeping our clinicians licensed and credentialed to practice and bill as we move into new states quickly, covering licensing strategy, commercial payer credentialing, Medicare enrollment, and the compliance questions that sit underneath all of it. The work touches Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, Revenue Cycle, and People, so you’ll be comfortable operating across all of them.

This is a role for someone who is genuinely hands-on with licensing and credentialing. You know the compacts, the expedited routes, and how to time credentialing against launch and payer-contracting deadlines, but you can also step back and think about state expansion and prescriptive authority as connected problems. We think of this as the level where execution and strategy meet: detailed enough to run the applications and renewals yourself today, senior enough to design the system and, over time, hire and lead a team of specialists to run it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Clinical Licensing Strategy & Execution

- Set the multi-state licensing roadmap and priorities against Daymark’s launch timeline, and know the terrain state by state for MD, DO, NP, and RN pathways.

- Get providers licensed faster by working the fastest route available — interstate compacts (IMLC, NLC, APRN Compact) and FCVS where they apply.

- Run applications and renewals to completion, from verifications and board back-and-forth through clearing whatever holds them up.

- Keep the licensing tracker and platform accurate, and keep leadership current on where every provider stands.

Payer Credentialing Strategy, Research & Execution

- Build the credentialing plan around which payers matter in which states, and time it to line up with licensing and go-live dates.

- Stand up and maintain CAQH profiles and attestations.

- Submit and shepherd commercial payer applications, chasing down pending items and fixing whatever the payer flags.

- Keep the credentialing tracker current and leadership in the loop.

Medicare Credentialing & Enrollment

- Figure out the Medicare enrollment approach and the right MAC jurisdiction for each state we enter.

- Own PECOS end to end — the 855I/855B/855R filings, reassignments, revalidations, and change-of-info updates.

- Stay on top of the MACs: respond to development requests, resolve issues, and report status back to the team.

New Hire Onboarding Support

- Kick off licensing and credentialing for every new clinician, starting from documentation intake.

- Work with the internal team to sequence credentialing against start dates so no one is blocked from practicing or billing on day one.

- Keep onboarding documentation and status organized and visible.

Clinical Operations Compliance Support

- Be the go-to for how scope of practice, practice authority, and supervision rules actually work state to state.
