Risk Control Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

2 What Is the Opportunity?

Travelers Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Manager within our Cyber Risk Services team. This role will be responsible for leading projects to develop and deliver cutting-edge cyber risk assessment and mitigation services to our clients, informing underwriting decisions, and leading cybersecurity initiatives to strengthen our clients' Cyber insurance portfolio. As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the cybersecurity strategies and services that prepare and protect our clients against evolving cyber threats. You will ensure timely and professional responses to our policyholders, brokers and underwriters about our team's services via our customer service ticketing system and on phone calls. What Will You Do?

- Consult on cybersecurity controls and best practices to assist clients in enhancing their security posture.

- Conduct moderately complex comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats for policyholders.

- Analyze and evaluate existing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to support recommendations while also ensuring policies/procedures align with industry standards.

- Develop and deliver actionable recommendations to policyholders on how to mitigate identified moderately complex cyber risks, including overseeing the implementation of risk remediation efforts based on post-incident data.

- Collaborate with underwriters to provide insights into client cyber risk profiles.

- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving cyber threat landscape, including emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

- Identify opportunities to enhance existing Cyber Risk Advisory services and develop new offerings to meet client needs.

- Assist with increasing team awareness of the evolving cyber threat landscape, including emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

- Bachelor's degree.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable.

- 5+ years of experience in the insurance, cybersecurity, or legal industries.

What is a Must Have?

- Proven track record of effective problem-solving and critical thinking.

- Extensive knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and what causes cyber attacks and claims.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk

- assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- 4+ years of insurance or cybersecurity experience.
