M365 Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive M365 Engineer with strong hands-on-experience across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, ServiceNow catalogues, security approvals, and governance documentation. This role will support enterprise governance by translating technical platform capabilities into controlled, auditable, ticket-driven services for business users. Key Responsibilities
1. Copilot Governance and Agent Controls
• Support governance for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, Copilot for Sales, and enterprise AI agent onboarding, including access controls, approval processes, and deployment readiness.
• Document and support Copilot licensing differences, premium capabilities, agent usage limits, connector settings, and governance recommendations for management review.
• Review and help configure agent deployment workflows covering sandbox creation, production deployment, user access, upgrade, update, and undeploy processes.
• Support governance controls for agent sharing, publishing, channel deployment, and approval workflows through ServiceNow tickets and security review processes.
• Work with security stakeholders to ensure new AI agents are reviewed for conditional access, DLP, Defender analysis, agent blueprint, and onboarding approval requirements.
2. Power Platform Governance
• Manage and document Power Platform governance areas including environments, managed environments, environment makers, viewers, system administrators, PPAC roles, DLP policies, connector governance, and environment policies
• Support governance for connector controls, including Microsoft 365 connectors, external connectors, OAuth, API keys, API tokens, and policies to control connector actions.
• Help define and maintain Power Platform governance catalogues, including environment creation, user access, API permissions, license requests, external sharing, agent deployment, and related ServiceNow forms
• Maintain governance tracking sheets, Jira-linked planning, feature tracking, and production readiness activities for Power Platform and Copilot governance.
• Support monitoring and alerting requirements for Dataverse storage and capacity usage, including threshold-based alerting discussions.
3. Microsoft Fabric Governance
• Support Microsoft Fabric governance activities including workspace naming conventions, workspace creation, roles, capacity assignment, managed workspaces, managed capacity, domains, subdomains, tags, external sharing, and Fabric identities.
• Help document Fabric workspace onboarding, knowledge base structure, FAQs, end-user instructions, draft communications, ServiceNow catalogues, and business-facing guidance.
• Support Fabric capacity and licensing discussions, including trial capacity, paid Fabric capacity requirements, data agent prerequisites, workspace allocation, usage monitoring, and capacity metrics
• Troubleshoot Fabric Data Agent behaviour, Copilot deployment differences, agent instruction discrepancies, modelresponse differences, and Microsoft support escalations.
• Assist with Fabric Data Agent testing, stakeholder validation, output comparison, dashboard validation, and documentation of anomalies with screenshots/session IDs for Microsoft support
4. ServiceNow Catalogue and ITSM Governance
• Support ServiceNow catalogue design and readiness and Work with IT Operations and Security to clarify approval workflows, production readiness, security queue expectations, QA validation, and remaining catalogue changes
5. Security, Compliance, and Access Governance
• Support AI and Copilot security controls, including Shadow AI blocking policy discussions, Intune policy alignment, conditional access for AI agents, Defender agent scanning, and ServiceNow approval routing.
• Assist in documenting policy decisions related to DSPM, DLP, Purview, Defender, SharePoint Advanced Management, and conditional access dependencies for Copilot and agents.
