Learning Technology and E-Learning Specialist – Remote
Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Retirement Division as a Learning Technology and E-Learning Specialist.
About the role
In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences that help employees build skills and achieve business goals.You’llpartner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create impactful learning solutions whileoptimizinga seamless learner experience.
Success in this position requires a blend of instructional designexpertise, learning technology knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for creating inclusive,results-driven learning experiences.
What youwill do

Learning Design & Technology
- Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders toidentifylearning needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Design and develop engaging learning content, including e-learning courses, videos, job aids, knowledge checks, and blended learning experiences.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning practices to create accessible, learner-centered content.
- Manage andoptimizeLMS functionality to support scalable, user-friendly learning experiences.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve content based on learner feedback and business outcomes.

Curriculum Development
- Review, design, and enhance training programs and curricula to support employee development and organizational goals.
- Recommend learning strategies and solutions that improveknowledgeretention and performance.

Project Management & Collaboration
- Manage multiple learning projects from planning through implementation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensuretimelydelivery of high-quality learning solutions.
- Share learning best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Compensation
Salary Range: $79,900- $133,200plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Who You Are
- 4+ years of relevant experience in learning and development, instructional design, training, ora relatedfieldrequired.
- Hands-on experiencedesigning and developing learning solutions, instructional materials, or training programsrequired.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning technologiesrequired.
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) and e-learning authoring toolssuch as Articulate 360Rise, Storyline, Scribe or Synthesisrequired.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a collaborative environment.
